The Last Of The Finest

GREAT MOVIE, GREAT CAST, GREAT STORYLINE
WRITTEN BY BRENDA MUMFORD
HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES-SO GLAD I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY GET IT ON DVD. HAS A GREAT STORYLINE, CAST IS GREAT LED BY THE ALWAYS AWESOME BRIAN DENNEHY WHO IS MY FAVORITE ACTOR OF ALL TIME. A LITTLE PIECE OF MAYBE UNKNOWN INFO: DEB-LEE FURNESS, WHO IS THE WONDERFUL HUGH JACKMAN'S REAL-LIFE WIFE, PLAYS DENNEHY'S WIFE IN MOVIE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ESP. IF A BD FAN.

First-rate cop film with fully-drawn characters
Directed by John Mackenzie ("The Long Good Friday") and written by George Armitage ("Miami Blues") and Thomas Lee Wright ("New Jack City"), with a terrific ensemble cast that includes soon to be discovered stars Bill Paxton ("Titanic"), Joe Pantoliano ("The Matrix", "The Sopranos") and the always watchable Brian Dennehy, this solid cult crime classic well-deserves to be seen now that it's finally available on DVD and via instant streaming.

I was not pleased
I was having trouble finding a copy of this classic movie anywhere. I was eccited to see a copy on DVD Unfortunatley the word "COPY" is correct. It was a copy. The quality is good and the Menu looks good but the disc was definetly a copy. The case was also a copy. I am glad to have this in my collection nonetheless but was upset it was not original.
